Marcel Gehrung

Marcel Gehrung began his career in medical sciences, gaining his PhD in Machine Learning in Healthcare from the University of Cambridge, bridging the gap between deep technology and healthcare.

He is currently serving as the CEO and co-founder of Cyted, leading global efforts to improve access to digestive health diagnostics for cancer and inflammatory diseases. Marcel’s contributions to healthcare and technology have received recognition, including a spot on the Forbes 30 under 30 list and the Alexander Fleming Prize from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation for his impact on global public health.

His incredible experience across leadership, business management, fundraising, and his passion for advancing healthcare through innovation makes him the perfect addition to the UKI2S team.
