Berlin, Germany, 25th May 2016 – The winner of the Start-up Battle, a pitching competition taking place at Labiotech’s conference Refresh in Berlin on 24th May 2016, was today announced as Desktop Genetics. This special session was sponsored by High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF).
This fast-paced, interactive and lively session saw five innovative start-up companies pitch in front of a panel of experienced investors and potential partners including:

- Isabelle de Cremoux – Seventure
- Andreas Eckert – ELSA
- Davidson Ateh – BioMoti
The judges and the public selected Desktop Genetics to win the coveted Start-up Battle competition. Edward Perello, founder & CBO of Desktop Genetics presented the company in only five minutes, followed by 10 minutes of questions from the judges and audience.
