UKI2S & Innovate UK partner to fund infrastructure systems and health and life sciences growth companies

UK Innovation & Science Seed Fund
is partnering with Innovate UK’s £8.5 million Investment Accelerator pilot to fund innovative high-risk projects and invest in companies that have real potential for growth in the areas of infrastructure systems (smart infrastructure, energy, urban living and connected transport) and health and life sciences (covering health, med tech, agriculture and biosciences).

By joining both private investment and Innovate UK grant-funded opportunities at the onset, the Accelerator’s aim is to remove the need to find match funding, giving management teams more time to run the business rather than continually chasing investment. Additionally, the programme will seek to expand companies’ direct access to commercial acumen and market opportunities.

Please see both IUK’s investment criteria, as well as UKI2S’ investment criteria.

Please contact us at for an initial discussion, ideally along with a two paragraph non-confidential summary of what you want the funding for and how you believe your plans fit into UKI2S’ investment criteria.

Applicants are invited to a briefing event (in person in London or by webinar). The registration deadline is 28 June and the final application deadline is 5 July 2017.
