Early Advantage Fund

The Early Advantage fund was launched In December 2009 to provide investment, alongside business angels and other private sector investors, in early stage and small businesses within the West Midlands.

The fund is targeting high growth start-up and early stage businesses with or without revenues.

The fund can make an initial investment of up to £125,000 if matched by private money, and can invest up to a further £275,000 in subsequent rounds. The investment team will work actively with you to source the necessary private sector match funding.

The £8m fund was created through investment from the Department of Business Innovation and Skills, including a grant from the European Regional Development Fund.

The investment team for the Early Advantage fund is led by Andrew Muir and  Giovanni Finocchio.
